Aum pa! I'm sorry I'm a bit past your deadline, but sometimes interpretation must pause for a moment... Actually, all three quotes have great resonance with me and in fact could offer rather diverse interpretations; I'm not one who tends toward superlatives, particularly in choices - blame it on a non-linear tendency in historical research, so a 'most meaningful' is quite difficult... So, rather I'd like to present the three quotes interacting in quite interesting ways: I think a fundamental dimension of creativity lies in the ability of a person to open their heart, both to others but also to an appreciation of diverse ideas; ideas and people that offer 'Light' to carry the heart and the mind out of the darkness... and it would be this very 'darkness' that in one admittedly more material interpretation of the Buddha's words could be represented by the agony of life and death - the Light of blissful peace beyond this agony could be perceived as a metaphor in our eternal cycle for the creativeness that carries us beyond our own limitations, and beyond one of the Buddha's targets, our own preconceptions which can lead directly to darkness...
